I am a passionate veterinarian currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Calgary in the field of Disease Diagnostics, with a special focus on infectious diseases and their prevention from a clinical perspective. My career began with a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Pakistan, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to enhancing my knowledge of animal health, specifically focusing on veterinary epidemiology.

Why Capybaras?

While my veterinary background is rooted in infectious disease, my love for animals goes beyond clinical work. I have developed a special interest in Capybaras, the world’s largest rodents.
